Sooper Books is an award winning digital children’s story and audio app, bringing beautifully illustrated and expertly narrated tales to young readers around the world. With a focus on creativity, education and fun, the platform reimagines classic fairy tales and nursery rhymes while introducing a growing collection of original stories. Designed to spark curiosity and imagination, Sooper Books transforms reading and listening into a magical, accessible experience for families everywhere.

Illustrating Original Worlds and Reimagining the Classics

As Sooper Books’ in house illustrator for over three years, I played a central role in defining the brand’s visual direction. I created hundreds of illustrations across a wide range of stories, from reimagined fairy tales and nursery rhymes to fully original series such as The Ogglebogs, Monty, Weirdlife and Dumpling. Each series required its own unique visual tone, from imaginative character design to rich world building details, all while maintaining a cohesive and recognisable style across the platform.
Beyond illustration, I also led the visual strategy for Sooper Books’ social media channels, acting as both designer and editor. This involved using a wide range of creative skills to craft and curate content that felt consistent, engaging and true to the brand’s playful tone, ensuring that the magic extended across every touchpoint.
